LEWISTON — Jeanne D. Robert, 80, of 5 Brown St., Lewiston died Tuesday, Feb. 15, at St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center with her family by her side.

She was born in Lewiston, Sept. 22, 1930, the daughter of Alfrene and Anaise (Landry) Loubier and had been a resident of this community all of her life.

She was educated at St. Peter’s grammar school and attended St. Dominic Regional High School. She was employed in the local textile industry, then when she retired she became a homemaker. She married the love of her life Camille S. Robert on Aug. 2, 1947. She was a parishioner of Holy Cross Church.

Jeanne enjoyed singing along to country music, collecting dolls, shopping, watching CNN with her husband every night, and looked forward to her weekly visits from her granddaughter Jennifer and her grandson Zachariah. She also enjoyed her dog “Frankie.”

She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Camille S. Robert of Lewiston; one daughter, Diane Beagle and her husband, Walter, of Lewiston; two sons, Normand Robert and his wife, Coreen, of Minot and Marcel Robert and his wife, Tina, of Lewiston; five grandchildren, Jennifer and Zachariah Beagle, Cheryl Robert and Scott and Ray Robert; four great-grandchildren, Coreen Robert, Nathan and Ashley Robert and Jack Robert; and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by one sister, Therese Lessard; one brother, Gerard Loubier; a nephew, Sonny Lessard; and several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
