FARMINGTON — Ambrosia wants to be a sidekick in a nice home, said Franklin County Animal Shelter staff. She is just plain good company.

Ambrosia likes attention and she also likes solitude, staff commented, adding that she doesn’t go looking for trouble, but she’s no scaredy-cat either. She is around a year old, spayed and up to date on vaccinations.

New dogs at the shelter include a collie/mountain dog mix found in Jay, a rotti mix from New Vineyard, a rotti mix from Farmington and a hound mix from Jay.
