WILTON — The Wilton Day Extension met Feb. 10, welcoming Barbara Hathaway, state president. There were eight members and four guests present. Ann Story was welcomed as a new member.

Members discussed making afghans or pot-holders as a community service project.

Hathaway spoke of upcoming events and Caroline Mayo, East Wilton Homemakers Extension president, gave a brief speech. Members signed a card for the family of Nelda Doak.

Wilton Town Manager Rhonda Irish discussed “Getting To Know Your Town.” She told a little bit about herself and events that will be happening in the town in the near future. A potluck lunch was held.
