WORCESTER, Mass. — Sally A. Jarvis, 74, of Fitchburg, Mass., died Sunday, Feb. 13, at U Mass Memorial Hospital.
She was born in Marlin Head, Donegal Co., Ireland, Feb. 29, 1936, the daughter of the late John McLaughlin and Eliza McDermott. She was married to Joseph W. Jarvis and had been employed as a nurses aide at Mt. Elam Nursing Home in Fitchburg. She enjoyed dining out and riding in her car.
She is survived by her husband, Joseph and son, Marcel Paul Jarvis, both of Fitchburgh; five sisters, Mary Dougherty, Bridie Connolly, Rose Krennan, Lilly O’Sullivan and Theresa Carr; and three brothers, Jimmy, John and Paddy McLaughlin.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Anna Marie Jarvis July 2, 1999.
