LIVERMORE FALLS — The Jay-Livermore Falls Seniors celebrated Valentine’s Day on Feb. 14 at Murray Hall with 30 members present. 

Chairwoman Shirley Couture held a short meeting before a Valentine  lunch was served.  Casseroles, salads, biscuits, soups and pasta dishes were made and served by members.  Nancy Couture made a special Valentine cake and cupcakes, which were served with ice cream. 

Shirley Toncer was welcomed back.  On the sick list was Pauline Coombs.  Sympathy words were sent to Gloria DeLessandro on the death of her brother, Pete Jacques. 

Following the meal, Wilfred Laplante and his group entertained with love songs in observance of the holiday.

The 50/50 was won by Blanche Bilodeau. Door prizes, donated by Nancy Couture,  an anonymous donor and Marilyn DeSoto, were won by Theresa Bilodeau, Elvina Miller and Pat Couture.

On Monday, Feb. 21, a whatever Chinese auction will be held. Refreshments will be served by Jeannine Williams and Fernande Doiron.
