FARMINGTON — Titcomb Mountain in West Farmington is ready for school vacation, starting Saturday, Feb. 19. The mountain has received plenty of snow and the alpine slopes and cross country trails have great conditions.

The mountain will be open special hours during the week of Feb. 21. On Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday, the mountain will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. On Wednesday it will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. On the weekends, Titcomb Mountain will be open for regular hours, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sundays.

A number of events and children’s activities are being planned as follows:

Monday: 1 p.m., Lollipop Race.

Wednesday: Lucky T-Bar, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; ski free event, 4 to 8 p.m., sponsored by Franklin Savings Bank, $ 5 equipment rentals provided by Northern Lights Rentals.

Thursday: 1 p.m., snowboard race on the Beagle.

Friday: 1 p.m., Radar Race.

Sunday: 1 p.m., Dartmouth Race-, for club members age 12 and under

Saturday, March 5: 1 p.m., “Downhill Dummy” Competition.

Starting Saturday, Feb. 19, the mountain will offer a multi-day ticket for full-day alpine lift tickets that will be valid through the end of the season.

The mountain will also offer Maine Student Night for Maine students from kindergarten through college. On Saturdays, ski or ride from 4 to 8 p.m. for $10.
