Passport fair

LEWISTON — Kaplan University, in coordination with the U.S. Postal Service, is hosting the U.S. Passport Facility for a one-day Passport Fair when area residents will have the opportunity to apply for a passport book or card.

The event will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, March 29, at the Lewiston campus, 475 Lisbon St. For more information, call 333-3300.

There are a fixed number of slots, and reservations are open to anyone who calls to arrange a time slot in advance prior to the Monday, Feb. 28, registration end date.

Sodality speaker

LEWISTON — The Queen’ Guild Sodality will meet at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, March 3, in the the Holy Cross Senior Hall. There will be recitation of the Rosary followed by a speaker on Israel.

Plans will be made for annual May banquet. Light refreshments will be served after the meeting.

Sabattus Seniors

SABATTUS — A Sabattus Seniors meeting will be held on Thursday, March 3, at Maxwell Hall. Doors will open at 11 a.m. and the meal will be corned beef and cabbage.

To sign up, call Doris at 784-7950. The monthly meeting will be held after the meal, followed by bingo.

The following trips are coming up: April 12, Hollywood Slots; March 28 and 29, Charlevoix Region and Casino and Quebec City; Aug. 25 to Sept. 6, Mt. Rushmore; Sept. 18, Indian Head Lobster Festival.

Connected Catholics

LEWISTON — The Lewiston/Auburn Chapter of Connected Catholics of Maine (CCME) will host a Mardi Gras potluck/game night at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 5, at the Catholic Center, 16 Ste. Croix St.

Plan card party

LEWISTON — The Holy Family Ladies of St. Ann Sodality will hold the annual card party on Wednesday, March 16, at the Holy Family Parish Hall. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and tickets are $3. For tickets, contact board members or call Connie at 782-9775.

Door prizes, raffle prizes and 50/50 will be available. Refreshments will be served.
