PORTLAND — A landmark hotel in downtown Portland is getting a new owner.
RB Portland LLC of Delaware has agreed to buy the 202-room Eastland Park Hotel for an undisclosed price from Portland Hotel Associates, which put the property on the market last fall. The 85-year-old hotel, in the city’s arts district, is well-known for its rooftop lounge overlooking Portland’s downtown.
According to the Portland Press Herald, attorney James Katsiaficas said RB Portland is a new company formed by RockBridge Capital LLC, a hotel investment firm in Columbus, Ohio. The Portland City council on Wednesday granted the company its liquor and entertainment licenses.
