AUBURN — Suzanne Sullivan of the Auburn Public Library will demonstrate how to use a Nook eBook reader to borrow free eBook titles from the Maine Infonet Download Library on Thursday, March 3.

The program is an opportunity for those new to eBooks to see how they work and for those who own a Nook eBook reader to learn more about how to use it.

The Maine Infonet Download Library includes hundreds of eBook and audio book titles that can be downloaded to a personal computer, transferred to a portable reading device or burned onto a CD for listening on-the-go.

The download library can be accessed any time via the Auburn and Lewiston public libraries websites with a valid APL/LPL card. For those who don’t have an eBook reader, Auburn Public Library has a small number that can be borrowed.

The free Brown Bag Lunch program will begin at noon in the Androscoggin Community Room. Attendees are welcome to bring a bagged lunch or to order at the Library Café.

For more information about the program, call the reference desk at 333-6640, ext. 4, or see the website at www.auburnpubliclibrary.org.
