LEWISTON — Paper Crafting Day will be held on Saturday, April 2, to raise money for autism awareness. The event is sponsored by the Rev. Louis J. Fortier Council 106,  Knights of Columbus, 150 East Ave., where the event will be held.

There will be hourly door prizes, lunch, free make-and-takes with three demonstrators, and raffles from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at a cost of $25 a person.

One out of 94 children are diagnosed with autism. All proceeds will go to the Maine Autism Society, a nonprofit organization. A spokesperson from the society will be on hand with materials and will be available to answer questions.
