MEXICO — A New Hampshire woman escaped injury Friday morning when the vehicle she was driving rolled over into a snowbank.

Mexico police Sgt. Roy Hodsdon said Katie Melanson, 23, of Westmoreland, N.H., was traveling east on Route 2 near Dupuis’ Towing and Salvage at 10:40 a.m. when she tried to slow her 1998 Toyota Camry for a vehicle in front of her. She lost control and the car went over a snowbank and rolled onto its roof.

Melanson declined attention by Med-Care Ambulance Service.

The vehicle was destroyed.
