AUBURN — GreenHomes America, a provider of home performance contracting services, welcomes Jason Todd as the newest member of their expanding team. As a home performance training manager, Todd will primarily focus on GreenHomes America locations on the East Coast, including the newest franchises in Maine, Long Island and Virginia.
In his new role at GreenHomes America, Todd will educate East Coast franchises in building-science principles, installation techniques, and the latest in energy technologies. Todd is also qualified to provide the training necessary for employees to attain Building Performance Institute certification. BPI is a national standards development organization for residential energy efficiency and weatherization retrofit work. Additionally, Todd is responsible for educating and supporting the franchises in using computerized energy modeling software.
Prior to his role at GreenHomes America, Todd was a technical field representative and account manager at Conservation Services Group for the Efficiency Maine program. In that role, he provided software training and technical support for contractors. He was also responsible for in-field mentoring and quality control of Home Performance projects.
Todd is a BPI-certified building analyst professional and envelope professional, as well as a BPI-certified proctor. He is also a member of the Maine Association of Building Envelope Professionals and a member of Efficiency First. He was a presenter at the ACI National Conference in 2009, 2010 and 2011.
