A prisoner at the Bolduc Correctional Facility in Warren died early Tuesday morning, according to the Maine Department of Corrections.

The prisoner, Ryan Allan Calor, was serving a three-year sentence for burglary and was due to be released in February 2014, the release said.

The Department of Corrections notified Maine State Police and the state medical examiner, who launched an investigation into the inmate’s death Tuesday morning.

The cause of death was not available Tuesday evening.
