Auburn police and fire crews wait for a wrecker to remove a sport utility vehicle that rolled onto its side on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Bridge just before 8 p.m. Tuesday. The Ford Explorer spun on a patch of black ice while traveling toward Lewiston and hit a guardrail in the middle of the bridge before flipping over, police officer Don Cousins said. Neither the driver, Shari Williams of Lewiston, nor her husband, Clifton, was injured.
