RUMFORD — The American Cancer Society’s Daffodil Days will be held in the Rumford area during the week of March 14.
Local volunteers will sell bouquets, potted plants and this year’s limited edition Boyd’s Bear, Liv N. Hope, at various locations in Oxford County.
Funds raised support the American Cancer Society’s efforts to prevent cancer or detect it early; help people during and after a cancer diagnosis; by find cures through investment in research; and by rallying lawmakers to pass laws to defeat cancer.
To purchase Daffodil Days products, visit the following locations on Thursday and Friday, March 17 and 18: Andover General Store, Franklin Savings Bank, Rumford and Mexico and Marden’s, Rumford.
All proceeds will be donated to the American Cancer Society. For more information, call the American Cancer Society at 1-800-227-2345.
