RUMFORD — Scot Grassette, an award-winning comedy magician, has developed many caricatures throughout his performing career. Chef Pierre, for example, is wacky, yet confident of his skills as a world-renowned chef.
On Sunday, March 27, Grassette will bring his favorite faces to 49 Franklin, Reception Hall, for a family show.
Chef Pierre will present his famous baking of a cake in a borrowed hat, along with a scrumptious beef stew perfect for the season. Also joining in the festivities will be Marvelous Marvin the Mystical Magician, who sees the future and is not afraid to tell you about it. Grandpa Stump will show young whippersnappers how to have fun with common ordinary objects found around the house and in the yard.
Doors will open at 1 p.m. for seating, snacks, drinks and face-painting. The show will run from 2 to 3 p.m., with balloons and more face-painting afterward.
General admission is $5. Tickets are available at Bartash’s Cards and Gifts and All That Jazz on Congress Street, or visit www.49franklin.com. The reception hall is at 49 Franklin St. For more information, call 369-0129.
