RANGELEY — Nomination papers are available for town board and committee vacancies.

The terms of Selectmen Dennis Marquis and Gary Shaffer are due to expire this year. School Committee member Barbara Burgess’ term is also up, Town Clerk Ethna Thompson said. All three positions are for three years.

Other positions expiring include a seat held by Everett Quimby on the Sewer Commission, a seat held by Shirley Herbert on the Park Commission and a vacancy on the Water District previously held by Robert Griscom. These are one-year terms.

Three one-year positions on the Budget Committee will be elected from the floor during the annual town meeting and do not require nomination papers, she said.

Nomination papers require at least 25 signatures and not more than 100. These are due back by 4 p.m. April 25.

The municipal election takes place June 7; the town meeting is June 9.
