BRUNSWICK — The wedding of Claire T. Gamache and Thomas M. Bell was held at 10:30 a.m. on Sept. 6 at St. Charles Borromeo Church, All Saints Parish, in Brunswick. The Rev. Frank Murray officiated at the ceremony.

Mrs. Bell is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph A. Bisson of Topsham. Mr. Bell is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Bell of Auburn.

The bride, given in marriage by her parents, wore a peach floor-length gown and carried a bouquet of white lilies with hanging pearls.

Wendy Laffely, best friend, was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Pauline Roberge, sister of the bride, and Nicole Bisson, sister-in-law of the bride.

Wilfred Laffely, best friend, performed the duties of best man. Ushers were John Bell, brother of the bridegroom, and Normand and Jean-Paul Bisson, brothers of the bride.

Jeannette Belanger was organist and Brian Gamache, grandson of the bride, presented readings. Cantors were Cody Brown Meehan, grandson of the bride, and Joan Labrie, friend.

A reception followed at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Brunswick, after which the couple traveled to Quebec City in Canada. They are residing in Farmington.

The bride is a 1968 graduate of Brunswick High School and is retired.

The bridegroom is a 1969 graduate of Brunswick High School and also attended college for a time. He is retired from Central Maine Power.
