HUDSON, Mass. — Lori A. (Sorkin) Farrell, 44, of Hudson, formerly of Salem, N.H., passed away on Monday, March 21, at her home in Hudson surrounded by her loving family. She leaves her beloved husband of 12 years, Brian C. Farrell of Hudson.

Lori was born on Aug. 14, 1966, in Canoga Park, Calif., and raised in Sabattus and Alstead, N.H. She graduated from Hollis High School in New Hampshire, Class of 1985, and later attended Gordon College in Wenham, Mass., where she received her bachelor’s degree in 1989.

Lori has resided in Hudson since 1997, after moving from Salem, N.H. She was a school teacher at the Good Shepherd School in Barrington, N.H., and most recently taught the first-grade class at North Andover Elementary School in North Andover. She was a member of the local chapter “Mothers and More” and member of the “Healing Garden” in Harvard, Mass. She was a member of Saint Michael’s Parish in Hudson.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her parents, Al and Ronile (Lord) Sorkin of Sebring, Fla.; her two twins, Matthew and Hannah Farrell, of Hudson; two sisters, Jennifer Sorkin of Litchfield, N.H., and Keeley Sorkin of Hudson; her brother, Michael Sorkin of Seabrook, N.H.; her aunt, Gerry (Lord) Eichenberger of Lake Placid, Fla.; her best friend, Betsy Boyd of Dallas, Texas; and her many nieces, nephews and cousins.
