Lindsy Crutchfield, a freshman at Dirigo High School in Dixfield, will compete in Maine History Day in Augusta on Wednesday. Her project is a 10-page research paper advocating marriage for any two people. She will be asked a series of questions based on her research. The event is in conjunction with National History Day, with Maine winners eligible to take part in the national competition at the University of Maryland in June.
