DIXFIELD — The Neighborly Senior Citizens met on March 16 at the Dixfield Legion Hall with 50 present. The session was called to order by President Connie Tutlis.

Observing a March birthday was Marcel Martineau and observing March anniversaries were Marcel and Nila Marcineau, 41 years, and Lester and Phyllis Prue, 59 years.

The next meeting will be held Wednesday, April 20, with a free roast pork dinner to all who have paid their 2011 dues. Dues may be paid on that day, and new members are welcome to join.

A Chinese auction will be held and members are asked to bring items. Guest speaker will be Craig Zurhorst, community relations director, Western Maine Transportation, who will explain services provided by the agency. Entertainment will be by Putt Pare.

The next trip will be on Thursday, April 7, to Lac Megantic, Canada, to the Sugar Shack. There is still space on the bus and people do not have to be members to go. Cost is $45 a person and pick-up points are in Mexico, Dixfield and Farmington. For more information, call Connie at 364-4189.
