Open house
NEW GLOUCESTER — The New Gloucester Historical Society will hold an History Barn Open House from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 2. The barn is located on Route 231 right behind the town hall.
The public is invited to see the society’s collection of antique wheeled vehicles and historic photos. Admission is free. The barn will be open again in May for a quilt show.
Housewares party
SABATTUS — The Community Baptist Church on Main Street will host a housewares party at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 2.
Everyone is invited to attend and bring a friend. All proceeds will go to fund the food pantry, which meets the needs of families in the area.

Trip to NYC
LISBON — The Lisbon Recreation Sunshine Hill program is planning a trip to New York City, which is open to anyone. It includes a three-night stay, harbor cruise, sightseeing, six meals, coach trip and gratuities for tour guides. Trip dates are June 10 to 13 with a cost of $415.
Those wishing may hold a spot with a $75 deposit; payment in full due by Sunday, April 3. Call Coordinator Aline Strout for more information at 353-0646 or the Lisbon Recreation office at 353-2289.
