LIVERMORE FALLS — The Western Maine Young Marines will serve breakfast from 6 to 10:30 a.m. Sunday, April 3, at Murray Hall.

The group is looking for individuals or businesses that may be able to assist. In order to make the fundraiser successful, they need food staples, paper plates, cups and plastic ware.

At the same time, members will hold a silent auction and merchandise donations will be accepted. Cost of the supper will be $6 for age 14 and up; $4, age 13 and under; $5, veterans with ID.

The Young Marines program is a youth organization that bases its style around the Marine Corps, teaching discipline, respect and other values. Open to anyone age 8 to 18, the Young Marines offer encampments and training such as first aid, CPR, fire prevention, field skills and drug demand reduction. The fundraiser will help pay for encampments.

Anyone willing to donate items, funding, volunteer their time or anyone with questions should call Kristen Powell, adult volunteer, at 897-2865, or Commanding Officer Joseph Barbioni (USMC-Ret.) at 293-2567 or 441-1082.
