FARMINGTON — The Healthy Community Coalition has announced that staff aboard its mobile health unit will resume health outreach services at the Farmington Wal-Mart from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning April 5.

Visitors can receive a free ScoreHealth screening, which is a health risk assessment tool that includes a cholesterol and blood pressure check and information about changes one can make to improve health.

The ScoreHealth session may include nutrition and physical activity counseling, tobacco dependency counseling and stress management information.

Residents may also stop by for a quick blood pressure check, a physician referral or to chat with staff. Personnel can provide residents and visitors with information about the services that Healthy Community Coalition and Franklin Community Health Network provide.

All visits are weather permitting, and cancellations will be announced on WKTJ radio at 99.3 FM. For additional information, contact the Healthy Community Coalition at 779-2933.
