AUBURN — A PowerPoint presentation of the Oberammergau passion play in Germany plus a professionally catered luncheon will highlight the annual meeting of the Auburn Art Club at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 5.

The meeting will take place at Central Maine Community College, Turner Street. Luncheon will be prepared and served by members of the culinary arts center at the college. Because of the school’s schedule, the meeting will take place on Tuesday, rather than the usual Monday.

Lorna Hansen, a graduate of and teacher at Edward Little High School, traveled to Germany and Austria in August 2010 to view the Oberammergau passion play. The play is presented every 10 years by the people of the village of Oberammergau.

Hansen, a graduate of Eastern University and Rowan University, is a member of Court Street Baptist Church and is a member of the General Board of American Baptist Churches/USA.

Hostesses for the annual meeting are the club’s officers: Bonnie Ross, Joyce Campbell, Elizabeth Bell, Louise Reynolds, Janet Pelletier, all of Auburn, and Sarah Lawrence of Greene.
