AUBURN — The Woman’s Literary Union of Androscoggin County will award two $1,000 scholarships to two students graduating from a high school in Androscoggin County who plans to enter the field of arts and literature.

The recipients will be selected on the basis of scholarship, citizenship and financial need. The amount of the scholarship will be sent to the college bursar after the winners have successfully earned a 2.6 GPA (or better) for his/her first semester of college work.

Applications are available at the high school guidance offices or can be downloaded from www.womansliteraryunion.org.

They should be submitted to the guidance counselor for the school on or before Saturday, April 9.
