LEWISTON — The Wellness Council of Androscoggin has announced its 2011 line-up of wellness speakers.

Victoria Williams, community educator for Safe Voices, will discuss “Domestic Violence: Workplace Response” from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, at the Green Ladle on the Lewiston High School campus 156 East Ave.

RSVP to Maria Pete by email at [email protected], or by phone at 778-8771. Registration is $5 and can be paid at the door or advance checks may be made out to Androscoggin Chamber of Commerce, with “wellness” in memo line, and sent to Healthy Androscoggin at 300 Main St., Lewiston, ME 04240.

The first 30 registrants will be entered into a drawing for a free Take Charge Biometric Screening and Wellness Council T-shirt. Five names will be drawn.

The July meeting will discuss “Mental Health and the Workplace” from 7:30 to 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 26. From 7:30 to 9 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 1, those attending will learn about “Tools for Creating and Implementing Worksite Wellness Plans.” Locations will be announced.
