PARIS — Registration for University of Maine System summer and fall semesters has begun at the Western Maine University and Community College Center. Summer semester classes will begin Monday, May 16, for most campuses.

WMUCC will offer courses taught by university instructors on-site at the center, but students also can choose from hundreds of courses delivered online and via interactive television and video conference.

Nikki Abbott, director of WMUCC, encourages those who are thinking about taking a course or exploring degree programs to contact the center as soon as possible. “It’s a good idea to register for courses well in advance of the upcoming semesters,” she said. “Required courses tend to fill up quickly.”
