Info meeting

SKOWHEGAN — USDA Rural Development, Farm Service Agency and Natural Resources Conservation Service representatives will share information on available programs for agriculture producers from 8 a.m. to noon Wednesday, April 13, at the Skowhegan Community Center.

Topics will include energy grant and loan programs, business loans, farm-based conservation programs and grants for adding value to farm products. The workshop is co-sponsored by Somerset Economic Development Corporation and the Western Mountains Alliance. RSVPs are requested for planning purposes by Friday, April 8. Seeking vendors

JAY — The Knights of Columbus Council, Main Street, will hold a flea market from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m on almost every Saturday starting June 4.

Members are looking for vendors to rent tables in the high traffic count location on Route 4. Vendors who would like to rent tables should call 897-7108 and ask for Bob.
