BOWDOIN — The Burnt Meadow Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, has announced that Sara Lori Lacroix is the DAR Good Citizen for Oak Hill High School of Wales and Tara Metzger is the Good Citizen for Lisbon High School. The chapter will honor them and their parents on Saturday, April 9, at a luncheon at the home of Corley Byras.

Lacroix has had leadership roles in many school areas and athletic activities as well as in community service activities while a student at Oak Hill.

Metzger has been a volunteer as a timer for Special Olympics, helped maintain the shcool’s first school garden and participated int he school’s recycling program, as well as volunteering at the town Thanksgiving dinner.

Both girls are outstanding students.

Gwenyth Fraser, recipient of the good citizenship medal at Oak Hill High School, and her parents will also be honored at the luncheon.
