RUMFORD — A mass of Christian Burial honoring the life of Nancy Martin was celebrated Friday at Parish of the Holy Savior. The Rev. Philip Tracy was the celebrant and George Gionet was the altar server.

Mark Belanger was the organist. Music selections during the mass were “Be Not Afraid,” “Wind Beneath My Wings,” “You Raise Me Up” and “Fly Like a Bird.” The Old Testament was proclaimed by her nephew and godchild, Jeff Melanson. The New Testament was proclaimed by her son, Vincent Martin Jr. Personal reflections were shared by her son, Craig Martin, grandson, Ryan Capponi, and brother, Joe Buccina. Offertory gifts were presented by nieces, Pam Dodd and Donna Kelly. Pallbearers were her grandchildren, Ryan Capponi, Randa Capponi, Vincent Martin III, Amanda Martin, Emily Martin, Caleb Martin and Kylie Martin.

A reception followed in the parish hall. Spring interment will be in St. John Cemetery.
