FARMINGTON — The Girl Scouts of Maine Sandy River Service Unit is offering a 4-week program on adventure and outdoor skills beginning on Sunday, April 17. This program is open to all girls in grades 6-12. The registration deadline is Tuesday, April 12.

Parents, guardians or troops will be responsible for transportation of the girls. Events in this series will be held at one of four locations. Girls interested in participating in the overnight event on the final night will need to have participated in all three prior events:

Sunday, April 17: Ropes course at University of Farmington

Sunday, May 1: Rock wall and open gym at Anti-Gravity Center (Carrabassett Valley)

Sunday, May 15: Hiking at Tumbledown Mountain (this will be a family event)

Sunday, May 29 – Monday, May 30: Overnight and Outdoor Skills at Camp at the Eastward (Starks)
