LISBON — The Lisbon School Department is accepting names for the public school pre-kindergarten program at Lisbon Community School. The program is for children who will be age 4 on or before Oct. 15.

Children are selected for attendance in the pre-kindergarten program by a lottery system. To register for the lottery, contact Stephanie Doughty at the LCS office at 353-4132.

Parents will need to provide the child’s name, date of birth, address, telephone number(s), and parent(s) names(s). Class size is limited. Children who are not selected in the lottery will be placed on a waiting list.

All names must be on the list by Thursday, May 26. The lottery will be held on Friday, May 27. Parents will be notified of the lottery results by telephone or mail.

Students in the program attend school Monday through Friday. The Lisbon School Department provides transportation for morning arrival and afternoon dismissal.
