PARIS — The First Universalist churches of Norway and West Paris will celebrate an Easter sunrise service at 5:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 24, at the top of Perham Road, West Paris. The short sunrise service will be followed by a simple Easter breakfast at the West Paris church, located on Main Street.
“Rise Up, O Spirit” will be the theme of the services at both the West Paris and the Norway Universalist churches. The West Paris church gathers for worship at 9 a.m. Norway’s service begins at 11 a.m. The Rev. Richard Beal will lead both services.
In Norway, Vessel recording artist Heather Pierson is the music director and choir leader. Jim Burke provides the music at the West Paris church. Worship services are followed by coffee, tea, refreshments and a chance to visit and discuss the focus of the service. Child care is available. All are welcome to attend.
