NORWAY — Mildred A. Herrick, 98, of Norway, passed away Friday, April 15, at Norway Rehabilitation and Living Center.
She was born in South Paris on March 14, 1913, to Leo and Emmaline Harding Marston.
Mildred loved taking care of children, especially her grandchildren, but no matter who they were she wanted to be called “Grammie.” She loved doing embroidery, going to the library and reading.
She was a member of the Universalist Church in Norway, and worked on many Kiwanis dinners.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna Bedard; grandchildren, Susan Paradis, Martha Wiseman and Gemma Merrill; great-grandchildren, Justin Paradis, Mindi and Nikki Ward and Jake Wiseman; great-great-grandchildren, Martika Ward, Kylie Blanchette and Celeste Paradis; brothers, Edgar Marston and Lewis “Sonny” Bachelder; sister, Dorathea Tyler; and cousin, June Marston.
Mildred is predeceased by her husband, Humphrey G. Herrick; daughter, Deanna Cox; infant son, Donald Herrick; and infant great-grandson, Joshua Robichaud.
