A Lisbon Falls man, who would identify himself only as I.M Everyman (not his real name), carries a 7-foot wooden cross over the Bernard Lown Peace Bridge from Lewiston into Auburn on Friday. The cross carried the message “In our place he died.” The man said he chose not to give his real name because it would detract from the message. “Today it’s not about me. It’s about Jesus who died for our sins.” The man carried the cross from Lisbon Falls to Auburn. He said he used the walk to pray for believers and nonbelievers alike.
