AUBURN — Erna M. Tantillo, 80, of 1857 Hotel Road, died Friday, April 22, at her home, with her family by her side.
Born in Aschaufburg, Germany Jan 24, 1931, she was the daughter of William and Tekla Schnellbach Geissler. Before moving to the United States in 1958, she married Joseph Tantillo Jr.
She was educated in Germany and enjoyed snowmobiling, gardening, bird feeding and spending winters in Florida She loved spending time with family and will be remembered for her outgoing personality. She could bring a smile to everyone’s face.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joseph Tantillo Jr. of Auburn; three sons, David Tantillo of Auburn and his companion, Kim Reny; Donald Tantillo of Auburn and his companion, Diane Gendron; and Steven Tantillo of Greene and his companion, Jackie Leask; four grandchildren, Aimee, Tony, DJ and Alex; and a great-granddaughter, Chloe.
