Paris selectmen voted Monday to designate May 28 as “Gems of Route 26 Day.” The move was at the behest of Gems of 26, a group of eight organizations from Gray to Paris that includes McLaughlin Gardens, Poland Spring Resort and Harvest Hill Farms. Gems of 26 aims to increase tourism to the corridor.
