PARIS — Celebrate May’s special days at the Paris Public Children’s Library at 4 p.m. on Mondays when SAD 17 is in session. “Celebrations” welcomes patrons of all ages. Each session will begin with a story or two and will be followed by an activity. Alternate activities (puzzles, games, cut and paste, reading, coloring pages for all ages, etc.) will be available for those who choose to self-select.
May 2: Make origami tulips for Mother’s Day cards.
May 9: Craft a Koi Nobori, a Japanese carp kite, in remberance of Children’s Day in Japan.
May 16: Play Chocolate Chip Bingo to celebrate National Chocolate Chip Day.
May 23: Share with the group information you know about a veteran. Make a Lincoln penny pendant to wear proudly on Memorial Day.
