A Celebration honoring the life of Stanwood Pingree was held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, at SG Thibault Funeral Home.

Rev. John Gensel officiated. A poem was shared by his granddaughter, Nicole Jamison. Personal reflections were shared by daughters-in-law Crystal McKenna and Brandi Pingree, and granddaughters Amanda Pingree, Kate Cahill, and Taylor Pingree. Music selections during the service were “Daddy’s Hands,” “Go Rest High on that Mountain,” and special music was “Cowboy In Me” sung by his grandson Troy Pingree. Full Military Honors were rendered by the Maine Funeral Honor Guard and the Dixfield American Legion.
