HEBRON — Hebron Academy alumnus and Google executive Irakly George Arison will address the school community at the annual Cum Laude Society induction ceremony on Friday, May 6.
Modeled after Phi Beta Kappa, the Cum Laude Society was founded in 1906 to recognize academic achievement in secondary schools, and now consists of nearly 350 chapters, primarily in independent schools in the United States. Membership in the Cum Laude Society is Hebron Academy’s highest academic honor.
This year’s 13 inductees include juniors Allyson Strachan of Hebron and Harry Trask of Norway.
The Cum Laude ceremony will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the Hebron Chapel. For more information, call 966-2100 or visit www.hebronacademy.org.
