Auburn VFW Post Adjutant Arthur J. Roy of Lewiston has been appointed to the National VFW General Resolutions Committee, according to Richard L. Eubank, national commander-in-chief of the Veterans of Foreign Wars. Roy will be invited to attend the national convention in San Antonio, Texas, Aug. 27 to Sept. 1. Roy is state chief of staff for the Department of Maine, VFW, state membership chairman and Veterans Memorial Cemetery chairman.
