OXFORD — Two teenage girls were found safe Monday morning in Arundel after disappearing Sunday evening.
Oxford Police Officer Alan Coffin said the girls were unharmed.
Police put out a report Sunday night saying Brittany Dochnahl, 16, of 60 Duck Pond Road in Harrison had been reported missing from her home since 10 p.m. on May 1. She was believed to be in the company of Kaitlyn Reed, 16, of Oxford who may have been in a Lexus. The pair were thought to be in Biddeford or Old Orchard Beach, according to initial information from police.
Capt. Donald Goulet of the Cumberland County Sheriff’s Office said Dochnahl was found at a family friend’s house in Arundel Pines in Arundel at about 11 a.m. Monday.
Coffin said the Oxford teen was found safe with Dochnahl. No further information was provided because of the girls’ ages.
