Wales — Lakeside Chapter #60, O.E.S. will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, at the Grange-Masonic Hall, 322 Centre Road.
The group will be celebrating Memorial Day, Mothers’ Day and honoring the Star Points. The Grand Star Points have been invited. Edward Webber, P. P., will be installed Chaplain.
At the last meeting, the chapter surprised the following: Pauline Poussard with her Life Membership at Lakeside; and Stephanie Dupal, Associate Grand Matron, John L. Cousins, Sr., Associate Grand Patron, and Josephine Dupal with Honorary Memberships. The District Travelling Emblem “Mustang Sally” went to Pine Cone Chapter.
The members are reminded that Grand Chapter is May 15-18 in Augusta. Those with blankets for the Linus Project should bring them to give to the District Deputy. Members should remember to bring homemade items for the Grand Chapter Charity Basket.
Officers will wear colored gowns for the ladies and dark suits or tuxes for the men. Light refreshments will be provided.
