Terri Hutchinson of Auburn talks with Dr. Scott Bernardy just before having a cavity filled during Dentistry with a Heart day at Riverview Dental Associates in Auburn on Friday. Bernardy and Dr. Robert Limoges of Advanced Dentistry provided free dental care on a first-come, first-served basis. “We just wanted to help out the community, and this is a great opportunity to do that,” Linda Hoffman, office manager at Riverview, said. “We had 42 patients last year, and we are hoping to do 40 to 50 this year.” Dental assistant Shaeleen Charest, right, of Danville and the rest of the staff volunteered to work without pay for the day. While Hutchinson got in line at 7 a.m., people started lining up at 4 a.m., Hoffman said. Hutchinson, who had been living with a badly decayed tooth for the past year, said, “I am loving this place.”
