RUMFORD — The Oxford Hills gymnastics team, sponsored by Auburn/Lewiston YMCA, competed in the YMCA sttae gymnastics meet April 30 and May 1 at Mountain Valley High School.
In Level 5, Kaitlyn Fogg, 9, placed third on beam, sixth on bars, seventh on yault and on floor, and fifth in all-around. Jessica Bickford, 10, placed third on beam, fifth on bars and eighth all-around. Bailey Whitney, 10, was fourth in vault and seventh on bars. Kyleigh Rose, 11, was fourth in vault and 10th on beam.
In Level 6, Abby Green, 11, placed fourth on vault and beam, sixth on floor and seventh on bars with a sixth-place all-around.
In Level 4, Cassidy Walo, 9, placed second on bars and floor, third on vault and fourth on beam with a second-place all-around. Kailyn Eskuri, 8, placed fourth on beam, sixth on floor, eighth on vault and seventh all-around. Maddie Darling, 9, placed seventh on vault and floor. Brianna Warren, 11, placed fifth on bars and eighth on vault. Hateya Levesque, 13, placed third on beam and sixth on vault and bars.
Team members traveled to Waterville on May 13 and 14 to compete in the YMCA regional meet. Fogg, Walo and Levesque competed against gymnasts from more than 40 teams representing all of New England, New York and New Jersey.
