Dead Season, a metal/rock/alternative band based in Oxford, will release a new CD, “The Negative NUMBers,” on May 31 in all Bull Moose Music stores, online at www.deadseason.com and on iTunes. The band, whose music is described as heavy but melodic enough to attract interest from the biggest radio stations, recently landed rotation on 94.3 WCYY with a single from the new record titled “Zombie Man.” Dead Season’s first show of the CD release tour will be Saturday, June 4, at Club Texas in Auburn. Tickets to this all-ages show (with bar for 21+) are $8 in advance at Bull Moose Music stores and www.deadseason.com, $12 at the door. Band members are Ian Truman, lead vocals; Matt Truman, guitar and vocals; Chris Michaud, bass and vocals; and Andy Hackett, drums. Dead Season, according to its website “remains steadfast in its mission to deliver music with integrity, intensity, and inspiration.”
