Teen open mic alumnus Zack Pomerleau will perform a solo acoustic set of folk and blues tunes from noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, at the Auburn Public Library. Pomerleau plays drums, guitar, piano and harmonica. With his recently formed Zack Pomerleau Blues Band, he has gone from jamming on weekends to playing professionally. He represented Maine in the 2010 International Blues Challenge in Memphis, Tenn. When not playing music, Pomerleau is studying to become a certified birth doula; he plans to attend nursing school to become a certified nurse midwife. At this free noontime program, people may bring a bagged lunch or order from The Library Cafe. The library is at 49 Spring St.
