WEST PARIS — There will be a Memorial Day parade on Monday, May 30. Line-up will be at 10:30 a.m. on Maple Street. Step-off will be at 11 a.m.

Participants will march to the center of the village and stop for the salute and singing of “The Star Spangled Banner.” Then they will march to the bridge for the ceremony, which will feature a prayer by Pastor Scott Randolph of West Paris Baptist Church, before marching back to the cemetery where there will be prayers, speakers and music.

Finally, they will march back to the monument in the village for more prayer and speakers. The closing song will be “God Bless America.”
