BUCKFIELD — A Memorial Day parade will start at the Buckfield Municipal Center at 9 a.m. The parade will include American Legion and Auxiliary members and the Buckfield Jr. High School band.

There will be a ceremony at the WWII Memorial, a prayer at the All Veterans Memorial and a ceremony on the bridge by throwing flowers into the river honoring sailors lost at sea. Parade members will then be bused to the Buckfield Damon Cemetery for a service there.

Speaker will be Tim Cooper, past commander of Post #58.
